Delivery

We always aim to deliver within 3-5 working days*. As some produce is made to order we may very rarely have to wait for this to be made. If this is the case we will notify you immediately, offer an alternative product or delivery date and reimburse if the delivery time is unacceptable to the customer. We will never leave on a doorstep so please ensure that you  are able to receive the delivery or arrangements have been put in place for somebody else (eg a neighbour/colleague) to do so.

 

*Please note that during the Christmas season deliveries may take longer than 5 working days. Christmas hampers ordered during October/November will be delivered in December. We will contact you to confirm delivery date. All Christmas deliveries will arrive by 23rd December.

 

Deliveries in the local area (5 mile radius of Whitstable) can, on occasion, be made at evenings and weekends. Please email us if you would prefer this option.

 

Cancellation

You have up to 24 hours after placing the order to cancel it in order to ensure cancellation before delivery. In accordance with distance selling regulations, you must contact us in writing either by letter or e-mail of your decision to return a shipment within seven working days of receiving an order. You do not have to give any reason for cancellation, however a brief explanation will help us to improve our service to customers in the future. The goods must remain unused and the component parts unopened and in a sellable condition. In accordance with the distance selling regulations, we regret that you may not cancel or return an order containing cheese gifts or other fresh food once the order has been dispatched.

 

You are responsible for the cost of returning the product to us. Please ensure that you include your name, address and postcode. Please return to:

We will refund the order as soon as possible, usually within 7 day but no later than 28 days after receiving the goods.

 

Faulty Goods

The Whitstable Hamper Company strives for excellent quality and service. If, however, the hamper or contents arrive damaged, please contact us within 3 days of delivery. We offer a free returns service for faulty goods. Please send the faulty item(s) to arrive within 28 days of delivery. We will offer a full refund or replacement upon receipt of the goods. Please ensure that you include your name, address and postcode.
